You knew us as SigueSol. Rediscover us as Ecostal Engineering.

Since 2008, we have designed, manufactured and installed solar structures on demanding sites: slopes, embankments, former landfills, rocky ground. More than 1 GWp installed in Europe, project after project, with support on your most complex projects. All of this we built under the SigueSol name.

Over the years, your projects have taken us beyond the structure itself. You brought us ever broader questions, from sizing to operation. We answered by expanding our engineering office and our offering. Today, we carry your projects from end to end, as an engineering partner. We joined the Ecostal group in 2021, then Ecostal Group from its creation in 2023. In October 2026, we take its name. Ecostal Engineering is the same trade, learned with you, within a group that gives us the means to do it even better. The people who answer your calls, however, remain the same.

Ecostal Engineering through the years

The birth of Action Energie
It all began in Belgium with the founding of Action Energie SPRL, a pioneer of the solar industry. The company first grew in the residential market, working closely with homeowners.
The same year, Stéphane Dauvister founded Ecostal, which would go on to become Ecostal Group. Our two stories would come together in 2021.
Turning to ground-mounted structures
Our first turning point: we left the residential market for the B2B market in ground-mounted solar plants and solar canopies. The SigueSol trademark was registered, and the team moved into new premises in Werbomont.
Two years later, in 2014, we completed our first project outside Belgium, in the Netherlands.
An expanded machine fleet
To support our growth, we expanded our fleet of screw-driving machines, which install the ground screws for our ground-mounted structures. This allowed us to run more sites in parallel.
The following year, in 2019, we completed our first project in France.
SigueSol joins the Ecostal group
As early as 2021, even before Ecostal Group was created, SigueSol joined the Ecostal group, founded in 2008 by Stéphane Dauvister, bringing its structures and engineering expertise.
SigueSol SAS and Ecostal Group
Active in France since 2019, we set up SigueSol SAS in Béziers at the end of 2023 to support the growth of our business in this market, close to our French customers.
The same year, the Ecostal companies came together under one banner: Ecostal Group. We became its Engineering & Projects division, alongside the group’s distribution brands: our projects drew on their logistics and manufacturer partnerships.
A stronger team
The team expanded to keep pace with our growth: two engineers specialising in metal structures, one of them dedicated to R&D, and a Country Manager France joined us.
In December, at the EnerGaïa forum in Montpellier, we unveiled the prototype of EnergyHub, our 3-in-1 solar carport.
SigueSol becomes Ecostal Engineering
A year of firsts: our first trade fair in Italy, in Rimini, our first time exhibiting at Intersolar Europe in Munich, then the first EnergyHub units installed in Tarquinia and Rennes. With EnerTrack trackers and EnerFlexx storage, our offering has become an integrated solution, from project engineering to operation.
In October, SigueSol takes the name Ecostal Engineering. It is the logical next step in our belonging to the group: our projects rely on its logistics and manufacturing partners. The new name makes clear what we are for you: Ecostal Group’s provider of integrated solutions, grounded in energy engineering. The same teams, under the group’s name.

Our vision

Everything we do serves one goal: to be Europe’s engineering partner of reference for industrial photovoltaic projects. The one you call when the terrain is complicated, when the project combines generation, storage and charging, or when you need a single party responsible from study to operation.

After Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg, we are growing in France and Italy and preparing our first projects in Germany, with the backing of Ecostal Group. Our ambition remains what it was on day one: quality solutions and services for an ever-wider network of partners.

Our EnerGround structures and EnerTrack trackers contain no components from China: design, engineering and manufacturing are all controlled within our European supply chain. Our solutions comply with the EU NZIA regulation.

What the NZIA changes

Every structure undergoes rigorous structural design in line with the Eurocodes, for high performance and a long service life. For driven or screw piles, pull-out tests carried out at the preliminary design stage determine the final sizing of the foundations.

Ecostal Engineering is ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified. FixxPark, our module integration system for car park canopies, is validated by a new technique assessment (ETN) from Alpes Contrôles.

Ecostal Engineering is one of the companies of Ecostal Group, created in 2023 as the continuation of Ecostal, the company founded in 2008 by Stéphane Dauvister. Present in Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Switzerland and Spain, the group brings together two complementary businesses: B2B distribution of photovoltaic solutions, and energy solutions engineering, which is our role.
