HelioGround is the all-terrain two-post ground-mounted structure in the EnerGround range, designed for the adaptability and durability of Ecostal Engineering’s ground-mounted PV plants.

An all-terrain two-post structure
Its “tube-in-tube” sliding system adapts to the most demanding soils and topographies. It allows infinitely adjustable height and tilt, and even compensates for differential settlement occurring during operation.
Ground screws and concrete ground beams can be combined on the same table. The modules slide onto rails and are clamped from below: installation is fast, safe and ergonomic, with minimal shading behind the modules, ideal for bifacial panels.
HelioGround can be installed on three types of foundation, chosen according to ground conditions: ground screws, ball-joint feet on ground beams and driven piles.

Ground screws
Faster, more efficient, safer. Ground screws are particularly versatile. Made from hot-dip galvanised steel to resist corrosion, they suit all soil types: topsoil, clay, chalk, concrete, and rock with pre-drilling. Highly resistant, they are stable and durable, and withstand extreme vertical and horizontal loads.
This solution requires no earthworks, no excavation and no concrete. Quick to install, it causes no soil damage or soil sealing and remains fully reversible. The screws can be loaded immediately and no earthing connection is needed.
We keep a large stock of ground screws, which shortens site start-up times.
The benefits of ground screws
- Saves time
and money: can be loaded immediately - No impact
no earthworks, no excavation, no concrete - Reversible
and easy to remove - All soil types
and all weathers: rain, frost, snow - Tested and approved
by numerous bodies - Hot-dip galvanised
steel, to DIN EN ISO 1461

Ball-joint feet on ground beams
The answer to differential settlement. This foundation is used where digging is not possible: backfilled land, engineered landfill sites, buried services. The ball-joint feet rest on ground beams and allow an inclination of up to 10%. The structure thus compensates for uneven ground and differential settlement. Thanks to the telescopic height adjustment of the feet, it adapts as the ground changes over time.
- Ideal for engineered landfill sites
- Compensates for uneven ground, with an inclination of up to 10%
- Compensates for differential settlement
- Two possible adjustments: tilt and height

Driven piles
Cost-effective, quick and easy to install. Driven piles are suited to stable soils. Because they need no accessories and are easy to assemble, they are particularly cost-effective and quick to install. They offer better shear resistance than ground screws, which allows wider spacing between piles, and a single central pile can even be used for smaller structures that would normally need at least two screws.
Like ground screws, driven piles have no impact on the soil, are completely reversible and are removed simply by pulling them out. On hard or corrosive soils, ground screws keep the edge: being shorter, they have a smaller surface area to treat, and they are adjustable.
- Cost-effective: no accessories, less material
- Fast installation
- Excellent shear resistance, for wider spacing between piles
- Can be used as a single central pile
- No impact on the soil
- Reversible solution
