Cookie policy

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that a website places in your browser. It can, for example, remember your choices from one page to the next. The same rules apply to similar technologies, such as the browser’s local storage.

A cookie can neither read other files on your device nor install programs on it. It is linked to your browser, not to your identity.

Which cookies do we use?

The Ecostal Engineering website sets as few cookies as possible. Only the necessary cookie is set without your consent; the others wait for your choice in the consent banner.

Necessary cookie

  • CookieConsent (Cookiebot): remembers your cookie choices so that you are not asked again on every page. Duration: 12 months.

Statistics cookies, with your consent

  • _ga and _ga_* (Google Analytics 4, loaded by Google Tag Manager): measure page visits, in aggregate form, to improve the website. Duration: up to 2 years. Without your consent, they are not set.

Videos

Our videos are published on YouTube and embedded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com): nothing is loaded from YouTube until you start a video. Once you do, YouTube may store information on your device, in accordance with its own privacy policy.

No advertising or social media cookies

The website uses no advertising, remarketing or social media cookies. The link to our LinkedIn page, at the bottom of the page, is a simple link.

How do you give or withdraw your consent?

On your first visit, a banner lets you accept all cookies, reject all cookies or choose by category. You can change your mind at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page: withdrawing your consent is as easy as giving it. Your choice is kept for 12 months, after which the banner is shown to you again.

How do you delete cookies?

You can also delete cookies that have already been set, or block them, in your browser settings. If you block the necessary cookie, the website will no longer be able to remember your choices and the banner will appear on every visit.

Changes

This policy may change, for example if we add a service to the website. The version in force is the one published on this page.
