Ecostal Group and the shareholder of Solexis have announced an agreement for Solexis to join the Ecostal group. Based in French-speaking Switzerland, Solexis is a major player in the B2B distribution of equipment and solutions for photovoltaic installations in Switzerland.
The integration of Solexis marks a new stage in Ecostal Group’s European expansion strategy. Following the acquisition of Project Zero in Belgium and Yomatec in France, this transaction will enable Ecostal Group to extend its business to Switzerland, reach critical mass in a fast-changing European market and bring even more value to professionals in the photovoltaic energy sector.
Frédéric Bichsel, CEO of Solexis, welcomes the agreement: “Joining forces with Ecostal Group fits perfectly with the development of our business and our ambitions for the future. By combining our strengths, we are enabling Swiss installers to rely on a European leader in the sector and to access an even more comprehensive range of products and services.”
Christophe Piron, CEO of Ecostal Group, adds: “I am particularly pleased with this tie-up, which allows us to put our European development strategy into practice. The two companies have complementary distribution networks and similar DNA. We share the same determination to stay close to our customers and support them at every stage of their work, with one of the highest levels of service in the sector.”
Stéphane Dauvister, Chairman of the Board of Ecostal Group, emphasises: “This transaction clearly confirms our intention to become a European leader in photovoltaic equipment distribution. We warmly welcome Frédéric and all the Solexis staff to the Ecostal Group family, and share with them our ambitions for growth, service quality and innovation.”
Frédéric Bichsel becomes a shareholder of Ecostal Group alongside the existing shareholders. He retains his role as Managing Director of Solexis and joins the Ecostal Group executive committee.
