SigueSol rolls out its first EnergyHub projects in France and Italy

EnergyHub is moving from the drawing board to the field. SigueSol, the engineering arm of the Ecostal group, has launched its first two solar canopy projects: one in Rennes, France, and the other in Italy.
The first two projects under way
In Rennes, France, an EnerPark canopy of around 100 kWp covers the car park of the company Green Power. The project is delivered complete, with cladding for the structure and a rainwater downpipe, for a neat fit with the site. In Italy, another EnerPark covers around twenty spaces in a football stadium car park. Two different settings, one solution, turning a parking area into a place that produces energy.

A canopy designed as an industrial product
EnergyHub is built from two- or three-space modules that can be combined: SigueSol assembles standardised blocks rather than redesigning every car park. The structure is designed to carry panels, inverters, batteries, energy management and charging points, within the permissible loads of the equipment and in line with current standards such as the Eurocodes. Engineering work that protects the client’s investment over time.
“The SigueSol approach combines bespoke manufacturing with precision engineering, to guarantee the structural durability and insurability of every project,” sums up Guélor Sindji, Sales Manager France.
Two ranges, to suit different needs
To adapt to every project, EnergyHub comes in two versions. EnerPark, the all-in-one solution, brings together the structure, panels, inverters and options (battery, energy management, charging points), ready to generate power. HelioPark, the structure-only solution, is limited to the frame and its integration system, for clients who manage their own electrical equipment. Both ranges are distributed by the group’s entities depending on the market, in Belgium as well as in France.
A product backed by the group’s network
Designed and manufactured by SigueSol, then distributed through Ecostal’s network, EnergyHub illustrates the complementarity between engineering and distribution. It arrives at a time when the canopy is becoming a true energy hub, combining solar generation, EV charging and land preservation, driven by regulations such as the French APER law. The Rennes and Italian projects are its first concrete references.
